This was stated to a bTV team in Pravets by Todor Zhivkov’s grandson, Todor Slavkov, during the celebration of the 109th anniversary of the birth of the former secretary general of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party and president of the Council of State.
Petko Nikolov, father of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Mariana Nikolova, also appeared on the anniversary. Surprisingly, she said that the government should resign “to move on.”

An exhibition was organized at the former First’s house in Pravets. Among the exhibits are the gifts Zhivkov received from statesmen and ordinary citizens.
