IN Georgia begins a manual recount of all presidential election ballots. The secretary of state ordered this today, noting that the difference in the votes cast for President Donald Trump and his opponent Joe Biden is just 14,111 votes, Reuters reported.
Biden: I told them America would come back
Biden does not need Georgia’s electoral votes to win the election. With his victory in Pennsylvania, announced by the media on Saturday morning, he received more than the 270 electoral votes needed to be elected, the agency writes.
“With such a small difference, a complete manual census is required in each county. This will help build confidence,” Georgia Secretary of State Brad Rafenspurger said at a news conference.
Democrats retained a majority in the House of Representatives
He noted that about 5 million votes had been cast in the state and that the race was of “national importance.” Raffensperger added that he would investigate all allegations of voter fraud, but gave no indication of evidence of massive violations.
