Ludogorets defeated Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa with 8: 0 in a control match. Elvis Manu (14, 50, 62) and Iquinio Marin (28, 42, 87), Cowley Oliveira (24) and Cosmin Motzi (55) also scored a hat-trick in the goal show at Eagle’s Nest Stadium.
The newest addition was the starter for the champions, Portuguese Josue Sa, who teamed up on defense with Cosmin Motzi. The first danger in front of the guests’ door came in the 11th minute. Cowley Oliveira fired, but goalkeeper Hristian Hristov saved. Three minutes later, Ludogorets took the lead through Elvis Manu, who intercepted an Ikoko cross from the right and sent the ball inescapably into the far corner.
Cowley Oliveira and Iquinio Marin scored two more goals in just 4 minutes after finishing off good attacks on the wings. Shortly after, in the 32nd minute, the Spaniard made an excellent direct free kick, but the ball went through the door.

Three minutes before the break, Ludogorets made a great counterattack, perfectly completed by Marín 4: 0. The hosts controlled the ball after a corner kick in front of their door and within seconds the ball was already in the penalty area of the Loko GO, where the Spanish striker was in the right place.
In the 50th minute, Tekpetei was brought down in front of the goal-area goal, and Elvis Manu showed great class in the execution of the direct free kick and sent the ball into the upper right corner of goalkeeper Hristov for 5: 0. Five minutes later, Cosmin Motzi headed in, deflecting a cross from a corner.
The hosts kept firing at the rival goal, but Tekpetei and Marin’s blows were parried by a guard from Loko GO Hristov.

Two more Eagles Academy graduates appeared in the game in the 71st minute: Georgi Valchev and Ilker Budinov. It was the latter who failed to register his name among the scorers after his aerial shot in the 80th minute crashed off the crossbar.
Five minutes before the end, goalkeeper Damyanov had a chance to act after Viktor Mitev shot from a foul. Ludogorets’s guard rushed forward and masterfully killed in a corner.
Iquinio Marín scored the eighth goal in the 87th minute. He received the ball on the edge of the penalty area and with an effective turn eliminated the resistance of three defenders of the guests to transfer the ball to goalkeeper Hristov.
