The champion Ludogorets beat the second division Sozopol with 4: 0 in a control match played at the Huvepharma Arena in Razgrad. During the break there was a triple change in Ludogorets’ team. Vladislav Stoyanov, Alex Santana and Elvis Manu, who made his debut, appeared on the field. They replaced Renan dos Santos, Anise Abel and Giorgino.
Four minutes after the start of the second half, the hosts took a corner. Sozopol’s goalkeeper conceded, but the ball reached Tekpetei, who fired outside the area, but right at Vasenev.
In the 52nd minute, the champions were very close to the fourth goal. Tekpetei found himself on the right in the penalty area after a touch. The Ghanaian faced a rival, but instead of shooting into the near corner of the goalkeeper, he decided to look for the far one and found Kesheru’s body, after which the ball went out.
In the minutes that followed, young talents Dimitar Mitkov, Ivan Yordanov and Branimir Kostadinov appeared in a game for the Eagles. They replaced Claudio Kesheru, Cowley Oliveira and Jordan Ikoko. Mavis Chibota also entered the field shortly before them, replacing Bernard Tekpetei, who played a strong game.
In the 68th minute Ludogorets had the right to launch a dangerous direct free kick. Behind the ball was Mavis Chibota, who, however, shot straight into the wall.
