Lubomir fled Bulgaria in January, four days after Antonia’s murder.
A friend of the murdered Antonia Ventsislavova from Radomir village in Kopanitsa has been charged with her murder, Pernik police said. Lyubomir Lozanov, 36, who left the country after Antonia’s disappearance, was extradited from Italy a few days ago and has a European arrest warrant, BTA reported.
The 30-year-old woman has been missing since January of this year. In early October, officers from the Operations Department of the Ministry of the Interior – Pernik found the remains of a human body on the ground in the village of Radomir in Nikolaevo. DNA testing showed they belonged to Antonia.
The Pernik District Prosecutor’s Office initiates a pre-trial homicide process. After numerous actions in the investigation, her 36-year-old friend of Radomir was presented as a defendant, with whom they had a troubled relationship.
