The Minister of Health, Prof. Kostadin Angelov, signed several orders to make the measures more flexible. With one of them, it extended the term of the temporary anti-epidemic measures implemented in the country, from February 1 to April 30.

By order of the Minister, current classes are also allowed for students from 5th to 12th grade, observing the following schedule:

– from 4.02.2021 to 17.02.2021 – 7th, 8th and 12th grade students receive face-to-face training;

– from 18.02.2021 to 2.03.2021 – 5th, 10th and 11th grade students receive face-to-face training;

– From 4.03.2021 to 03.17.2021 – 6th, 9th and 12th grade students receive face-to-face training.

As of February 1, visits to cinemas, as well as participation in creativity, dance and music classes are allowed, using 30% of the capacity of the premises and observing the physical distance.

Starting at the beginning of next month, the gyms will be able to resume their work using up to 50% of the capacity of the premises.

Until February 28, visits to restaurants and entertainment establishments have been suspended, allowing deliveries or taking food to the home and office. An exception to the prohibition is allowed for restaurants in lodging establishments under current requirements.

As of March 1, visits to restaurants and entertainment are allowed, with the exception of discos, bars, piano bars, bars and night bars, using up to 50% of their capacity, a distance of 1.5 m. Between the backs of the chairs of two adjacent tables and the use of protective masks by the staff.

From the beginning of next month, both the shopping centers and the malls will resume their work, and minors have the right to visit them only if they are accompanied by a parent, guardian or other adult.

From January 29 (Friday) to April 30, the requirement that those arriving in Bulgaria present a document for the negative result of a PCR test carried out up to 72 hours before entering the country is introduced.

Bulgarian citizens and persons with permanent, long-term or long-term residence in the country and members of their families who do not present the document are subjected to a 10-day quarantine.

Exceptions to the requirement of a negative PCR test result are allowed for bus drivers conducting international transportation, truck drivers conducting or terminating international transportation, ship and aircraft crews, border workers, and in-country transit.

From February 1 to April 30, all citizens who are in closed public places, incl. and in public transport, you must wear a mask. The same requirement applies to open public spaces, where overcrowding cannot be avoided. This means that it is no longer possible to use helmets or other means that cover the nose and mouth instead of a mask.

Exceptions are allowed for customers of places of food and drink establishments, when visits are allowed in the latter, for athletes, for children up to 6 years, as well as for speakers during seminars, press conferences, etc. .
