The problems for Levski began even before the first referee’s signal, when Faisal Reras, who was declared a starter in the starting eleven, was injured, forcing young Patrick-Gabriel Galchev to replace him.
The hosts took the lead in the match from the first minute, but their attacks were unsuccessful.
In the 16th minute, Atanas Iliev climbed the “blues” and led Botev ahead in the result. The situation for the “blues” became even more complicated, since after an hour of play another defense of the hosts was injured. After Patrick-Gabriel Galchev replaced Faisal Reras, who was seriously injured in the warm-up, now the youngster himself was injured and gave up his place to Georgi Alexandrov.
