Litex dispersed Miner Pernik 5: 1 at their stadium in Lovech in the last match of the eighth round of the Second League. Goals for the hosts were scored by Stefan Nedelchev (20), Hristian Petrov (45 + 1), Dobromir Bonev (62, 74) and Boris Tyutyukov (70). Reserve Rejeb Khalil (72) signed by the “hammers”. With their victory, Litex moved up to sixth place in the rankings, while Pernichani dropped to ninth place.
In the second minute the hosts secured the right to launch a direct free kick near Pernik’s penalty area, but Galin Minkov’s dangerous cross died far from Leontiev’s gate. In the 8th minute Dobromir Bonev could not overtake Litex after receiving a comfortable ball, but his shot was stopped outside the net.
The more active game of the hunters continued and this created new dangers in Miner’s penalty area, but in both cases referee Gadjalov ruled violations in the attack by Zhivkov and Nedelchev.
Logically, it reached a goal in the door of the guests. In the 20th minute a distracted play in Pernik’s defense allowed Oleg Dimitrov to control the ball from the left and return to Nedelchev, who opened the scoring from the penalty spot.
Two minutes later, Nedelchev was in a good position again, but could not get past Leontiev. Yuri Vasev’s team struggled to reach Nistorov’s goal and only in the 30th minute did captain Tomislav Pavlov shoot from far away and the ball passed dangerously close to the home team’s right crossbar.
Tensions in the sector for Miner’s fans in the 32nd minute led to police intervention and order was quickly restored. Almost 120 people from Pernik came to Lovech to keep their pets.
In minute 37 the guests were forced to make a change in their composition. Vesselin Vasev suffered an injury and was carried out on a stretcher, and Georgi Netov appeared on the field.
In added time in the first half, a superb cross from Galin Minkov from the left was intercepted by Hristian Petrov, whose header left no chances for the “hammers” base Leontiev.
And the second half began with attacks on the door of the guests. In the 48th minute, Leontiev had to take a corner, and three minutes later Minkov fired imprecisely from a direct free kick.
In the 62nd minute, the hosts showed their strength and counterattack. Dobromir Bonev broke away from the defense shortly after the cross, demonstrated good ball control and easily converted the classic 3: 0 score.
Four minutes later, the Hammers missed another goal. Stefan Nedelchev escaped from the opponent’s defense, but his shot missed the target. The hosts continued to enjoy themselves and in the 70th minute they had a new reason to smile. Reserve Boris Tyutyukov scored a ball deflected by the goalkeeper 4: 0.
Another player who came in from the bench returned a goal two minutes later. Rejeb Khalil masterfully intercepted a pass from Kaloyan Yosifov and left no chances for Nistorov. The final 5: 1 was formed by Dobromir Bonev in the 74th minute with his second goal of the match.
