Levski and Botev Vratsa finished 0: 0 in a match of the eighth day of the efbet league, played at the “VIVACOM Arena Georgi Asparuhov” stadium.
In the first half, both teams had good goal positions, which they failed. After the break, the dangers were counted on the fingers of one hand and the entry of Valeri Bozhinov did not help the “blues” achieve success.
Thus, both teams add 11 points and share the eighth and tenth place, along with Montana. In the next round, Levski visited Slavia, while CSKA 1948 went to Vratsa.
Adrian Kraev made his Levski debut, replacing Stein Speerings, who was sold in France. The young man acted behind Nigel Roberta, and on the flanks Georgi Todorov opted for Paulinho and Steven Petkov.
Botev’s attack was led by Levski’s teenager Valeri Domovchiiski, who was assisted by Daniel Genov and Hristo Zlatinski. The experienced Alasan N’Diaye and Iliya Milanov played on defense.
The first part went at a breakneck pace and featured some interesting moments in front of both doors. In the 10th minute, Levski made a forced substitution. Borislav Tsonev was injured, in his place came Simeon Slavchev.
The heated situation began in the 19th minute, when Steven Petkov intercepted a great cross. The new addition to the “blues” could already see how he found the result, but Krassimir Kostov scored with a great intervention.
In half the time the striker scored with a beautiful transfer performance, but the goal was disallowed by an ambush. Then Adrian Kraev intercepted with his head after a graceful pass from Paulinho, but the shot was weak and Kostov caught.
The following posts were run by the guests. First Valeri Domovchiiski found Iliya Milanov, who stayed to shoot. Nikolay Mihailov killed, after which Ivaylo Naidenov cleared. In the 35th minute, Domovchiiski fired a real projectile and the ball ricocheted off the door joint.
After the break, the fight prevailed and there were no interesting moments until the 70th minute, when Paulinho crossed from a foul, a defender of the guests deflected the ball into his own goal, but Kostov was careful and caught. Shortly after, a deflected ball hit Nigel Roberta, who intercepted a forceful play, but again the guest goalkeeper was in place and dead.
Botev responded a quarter of an hour before the end with a wonderful accountant. Daniel Genov overcame Alex Petkov with a great play and put Petar Atanasov in a clear position. He searched the far corner with a shot to the ground, but the orb flew inches from the target.
He never scored a goal until the end.
