A COVID-19 home was found in a social home in the Kavarna region, bTV reports.
94 of the 116 housed in the Home for Adults with Mental Retardation in the town of Balgarevo tested positive.
Ten staff members were also infected: 6 paramedics, 2 occupational therapists, a nurse, and the director of the social institution, Zornitsa Belcheva.
He said all the negatives were isolated in a separate building and said that so far staff have managed to take care of residents.
Currently, 50 people serve users at home. Most of those infected have no symptoms, only one woman is hospitalized at Dobrich Hospital.
Neighbors in the home were last tested about 25 days ago, when they all tested negative.
