Karayancheva called a new session of the National Assembly for April 28

Parliament Speaker Tsveta Karayancheva has scheduled a new extraordinary session for April 28, according to the parliament’s website.

The meeting will be from 9:00. hours, when it was started again by the BSP after the second signature was sent. The agenda is a single point: an audience with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov on the situation in the country throughout the coronavirus, as well as on the measures taken by the authorities.

This came after Borsov’s previous hearing was held on April 21. However, after two registration attempts, the SC did not meet a quorum, leading to the meeting being canceled. GERB then refused to enter the room and register and accused BSP and party leader Cornelia Ninova of trying to make a public relations move. In response, the socialists said they would not surrender and would file a new hearing request with the prime minister, reiterating the government’s criticism that they had no plans to emerge from the crisis.
