Jump of those infected with covid-19 in Bulgaria, the dead exceeded 2 thousand – Ongoing topics

IN In Bulgaria, 4,212 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered during the last 24 hours. Thus, after two consecutive days of reduction, there is a new jump in the number of new infected. This is displayed in the Unified Information Portal data.

However, it should be noted that during the last day more PCR tests were performed: 12,413, and the proportion of positives decreased slightly, to 34%.

There is a sharp decrease in the number of cured, there are 682. Thus, active cases of covid-19 increased by 3,530, to a new record of 64,613.

A record number of hospitalized patients – 4,949, as well as those at risk of death, housed in intensive care units – 288.

Again a high number of infected with coronavirus and died

In the last 24 hours, 85 people have died from covid-19. Thus, the total number of deaths since the beginning of the epidemic reached 2,055.

Bulgaria overtook China in COVID-19 deaths

This is the second worst day since the coronavirus infection began to spread in the country. Only on Monday of this week there were more new infections and they died of covid-19.
