A 33-year-old man from Burgas was killed in a brutal accident near the town of Dimchevo around 07:26 this morning, police announced.
The incident took place in the Zaslona area, approximately 1 km from Dimchevo. Due to speeding and loss of control, he crashed alone, colliding with a road van, a jeep with Burgas license plate, driven by three men: two citizens of Burgas aged 33 and 37 years and 39 years from Dimchevo.
The 33-year-old passenger, who was riding in the right front seat, was killed instantly. It has not yet been established who was behind the wheel of the jeep, as the other two men were outside the compartment when police arrived.
Blood was drawn for chemical analysis, drug or narcotics tests will be done soon, said police spokeswoman Tsvetelina Randeva. Pre-trial proceedings have started in the case.
