The tenant of the apartment is a 40-year-old general manager of Varna, who has been registered as a criminal for vandalism since 2004. The young woman, who managed to escape by jumping off the terrace, was taken by an ambulance.
“We cannot say if the perpetrator is a stranger or has left the apartment. Let the experience come out. We have not yet spoken with the owners,” the prosecution said Wednesday.
The case has not yet been clarified, conversations will be held with the owners of the rented apartment and neighbors. An official investigation has been launched into whether the murdered Swedish citizen has registered criminal acts in his homeland.
