Dimitar Golemanov, a 40-year-old former gamekeeper, shot dead his 23-year-old ex-girlfriend Dilyana and the 41-year-old Swede at the Makedonia street apartment in Varna. This is the main version of what happened in the apartment in the center of the coastal town, local media reported.

According to unofficial information on the Varna site rns.bg. Dimitar Golemanov is a former forester. He was a mercenary on mission in the former Russian republics and in Asian countries. In the Commercial Register, his name appears in two companies in which his partners are Russian.
Golemanov is also known as a co-owner of a beach restaurant. In the summer, his name entered the media after his non-profit association “ECO PARK GALATA”, established on July 2 this year, days later, applied to the Varna City Council for a 47-acre former military property for free use in the area of the neighborhood of the same name. A reference in the Commercial Register shows that Dilyana Filipova Tasheva is among the founders of the association.
The residents of the Galata colony expressed their discontent and explained that they had not even been notified of these intentions.
