According to the Austrian daily Die Kronen Zeitung, the attacker was a 30-year-old refugee who swore allegiance to the new leader of the Islamic State terror group, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, shortly before the attack in Vienna.

According to the latest data, four people died in the terror that bled the Austrian capital. Six sites were attacked simultaneously, including a synagogue, two restaurants and a European cultural center.
