This is what a Bulgarian politician of the highest class says. Prime Minister, leader and statesman. A successful politician on the European scene and who claims that his word is also heard there. Yes, in the 21st century, European leaders are saying that. Who does not believe, ask the Bulgarian prosecutor.
Because the Prosecutor’s Office saw nothing wrong in this way of speaking and governing the state. On the contrary, he totally refused to address issues such as whether Prime Minister Boyko Borissov interfered in the work of (supposedly) independent state bodies, whether he told them who to strike and who not, whether he exceeded his powers, if the institutions were working in order and things like that. minor problems.
A brief reminder: the quote quoted is from a recording that was leaked to the public in mid-June. Aside from Eurohold’s explanation, there were other memorable jokes. For example, to the address of the Speaker of Parliament Tsveta Karayancheva:

The recording itself is subject to analysis, but that’s not the point. The subsequent reaction is more important. First of all, there was the main actor: the Prime Minister. Three days after the appearance of the recording, he closed the subject briefly and categorically, there was no bad publicity. And summarize:
“If I go in and think about it, it means that I’m paying attention to it. To do what they know. As much as they want to do. Do more. There is no bad publicity … The more times they do it, the more times I beat them“.
It is a historically established fact that Borissov cannot be scared off with compromising recordings. After all, this is the man who went through “Misho Birata” and “You chose him” without a scratch on his image and election results. But this is not so much your problem as the voters.
The dramatic is different: nothing has been a scandal in our country for a long time. Not when the prime minister swears and insults, not when he shines that he uses the state as he pleases, without a drop of concern. As there is no public intolerance for such actions, there will be reconciliation with them. Simple and clear. As the prime minister says: “When you’re simple, it’s easy“Things are as they are and we keep going down. In the same way, to a new fund.
In this sense, it is not surprising, on the contrary, it is natural that the prosecution does not see any problem in the behavior of the Prime Minister. There can be no opposite. If he set out to expose the prime minister, it would mean exposing himself. Do not all institutions work as a team? Some from Borisov, some from SOMEONE else? Did not the same prosecution remain silent and close its eyes for decades on Tsvetan Vassilev or Vasil Bozhkov, and then not pursue them with all its might? Even in these cases, did ANYONE call and say, “Exploded …“
The great sin of the Bulgarian institutions and the people who work there is that they are constantly trying to change reality. The public is taught that the hotel on the beach is a retaining wall and that medical care works well as people die on the hospital stairs. Such behavior should not be forgiven, because the people you put up with can’t spit in your face and play dumb for decades. And the institutions of our country do just that.
And since they are used to existing like this, there will be no prosecutor, neither boss nor individual, who would even think that sending an institution to blur this or that is a problem. On the contrary, all participants will say that there is no problem. The statement from the Prosecutor’s Office, which announced the termination of the investigation in the slander case, was very well explained. Borissov, former Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov, former and current chief prosecutors Sotir Tsatsarov and Ivan Geshev, FSC deputy director, were questioned. Why all this work? To please some, a small number of vocal people who obviously think that it is not okay for the head of state to behave in this way and imitate the activity. And to say that Borisov’s sincere confessions, like Goranov, Tsatsarov and Geshev smile in the corner as he lies to various colleagues and pretends to be crazy, actually has nothing to do with reality. Imagine this image. Do you have little imagination?
Naturally, none of those questioned has heard or seen the Prime Minister pressuring any institution, whom and when to defame. The institution itself has not heard anything similar. He has passion. However, he carried out a supposedly routine check, which strangely coincided in time with the defamation order.
And so, in the end, the prosecution decided to demonstrate their sense of humor. And writes:
“The Office of the Prosecutor is called upon to monitor compliance with the law and bring to justice those who have committed crimes of a general nature. Civil liability, disciplinary liability and any other type of liability is exercised under different conditions.“.
So if someone is offended by the behavior of the Prime Minister, they can claim their rights in a civilized way. For example, if the Speaker of Parliament is offended by the ratings, he can sue the Prime Minister.

And while prosecutors are having fun with their own wits, someone somewhere picks up the phone and says, “Inflate it, that my praim what I want“.
