I also spoke about why we lost the elections. Rumen Radev cannot accept 2 million vote, we cannot take 1 million and take power. Now we are falling apart because we are inadequate. “
Cornelia Ninova will not be elected to a new term as BSP president, Gergov added. “She left alone. There were great possibilities. We had high hopes,” she said of the co-leader.
“Where are our people? To get aces and fight unprepared children, I don’t get it,” Gergov was outraged and asked about iconic party figures like Mihail Mikov, Atanas Merdjanov, Georgi Pirinski and Angel Naidenov.
According to him, Sergei Stanishev, Kiril Dobrev and the internal opposition are not to blame for the humiliatingly low rating on the left, and the blame lies in the inappropriate behavior of party leaders.
“I was wrong to trust Cornelia Ninova, not Mikhail Mikov, and he became president. Mihov is an honest man,” repeated the Plovdiv socialist leader.
Georgi Gergov said he would wait shortly before deciding whether to run for leftist president.
“I will wait to see what happens. We need a younger person from the party. If I become president of the party, we will come to power, with whom we will judge that moment,” he said.
