The pharmaceutical giant Huvepharma is awaiting an official permit for the launch of the drug Ivermectin on the Bulgarian market.
This was announced by Blitz, citing sources in the medical community.
The clinical trials commissioned by Huvepharma have been successful. The special medicine has also received an international patent. Several strong Bulgarian scientists and physicians, led by Prof. Ivo Petrov and Associate Prof. Georgi Popov, spoke in support of their helpful action to counter and treat COVID-19.
The Executive Agency for Medicines is expected to give the green light to the spread of ivermectin in the first days of 2021, and its launch in pharmacies will become a reality in mid-January. This will stop the speculation that is taking place under the counter of all kinds of counterfeit Turkish drugs and others that have been promoted in recent months. The news of the launch of Ivermectin will delight hundreds of thousands of Bulgarians hoping to enter the pharmacy network.
