The PFC Botev Plovdiv Association has revealed that the club is mired in huge debts and is in danger of bankruptcy. In a special press conference, members of the organization’s board of directors Radoslav Koshinski, Todor Bochev and Boris Gizdikov explained that an urgent option must be sought so that the club can exist after the New Year.
Botev owes BGN 26 million to the bankrupt Corporate Commercial Bank, as the bankrupt trustee already wants his money, as the “yellow-blacks” have been sentenced to 2 cases.
“After the bankruptcy of KTB came big problems, there was a sum of debts, which was associated and was between 52 and 54 million lev. The main problem is half of this amount – 26 million lev. There are several cases for this money. The bankrupt trustee wants and we have been convicted in two instances and a third is yet to come. We will have a third in December. Only the fees for the costs of the cases are 3 million BGN, the 26 million separately remain. All these amounts will expire. This is not a pleasant thing, but if we want our club to exist after the New Year, we must urgently look for an option, to unite under the banner of the salvation of our club ”.
“As of December 2019, operating liabilities exceed BGN 2.5 million. To date, these liabilities are BGN 1.3 million. However, each liability is deferred and has a payment plan that is observed. At the moment they do not expire and are not scary. The debts for the National Revenue Agency are less than 200,000 BGN and there is even more for the suppliers.
“We did an audit because we knew we would have to talk about new sponsors. We had meetings like this in early August, but they wanted an audit of the club’s financial situation. Specialists were hired for this audit. The analysis will be available to anyone. how revenues are declining in the years after 2017. The other income is Samuilov’s money. Ten days ago the trustees of CCB filed a new lawsuit against the club for the same BGN 26 million. It causes us another million damage. aware of what it can mean at the club ”.
“The solution to these cases and the funds that we will owe is to buy the debt. This debt had an initial cost of around 1 million. Now it costs 565 thousand lev. We have to buy this debt. We have to launch campaigns to buy the debt. No I know if we have the time, energy and courage for that ”, explained the Association” PFC Botev Plovdiv “.
