The co-president of “democratic Bulgaria”, Hristo Ivanov, described as disappointing the draft recovery plan, which was presented today by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev. According to him, no vision is seen in the plan.

“All possible clichés are included. However, there is no specific vision of what kind of Bulgaria we want, what are the structural problems and how we will solve them,” Hristo Ivanov said in a statement posted on his Facebook account.

“Instead of having a vision for investment, we get a shopping list of what we can buy. Things that may be useful and necessary, but it is not clear if they are the most important,” he said.

“Even when money is invested in education, we see that the money goes mainly to the purchase of material assets. Only by buying equipment will we not be able to move the Bulgarian school into the 21st century. The teacher, his education and training of a new generation of teachers Bulgarians, “This is the main thing that should be included in this plan. There is absorption in styrofoam, in carpentry, in asphalt, what can be stolen, what can be used to make public procurement plans, “Ivanov said.

According to him, the project lacks a new philosophy for awarding grants and the project does not comply with previous EC recommendations. He described the plan as a process in which “the Bulgarian administration dreams of the future”, rather than asking businesses and education about their needs.
