The only school in Dobrinishte is one of many in the country where facilities are another challenge in dealing with the pandemic.
Before the first school bell at the only school in Dobrinishte, family readiness is in full swing. The walls are being painted and the patio is being cleaned. For the first time in its 150-year history, the school includes in its usual inventory and disinfection.
“As we look forward to the school year starting in person, the school is preparing to provide all necessary measures and funds so that we are not in danger of spread,” Zorka Shumanova, principal of St. Kliment Ohridski Elementary School, told Nova TV. .
The Dobrinishte school has been preparing for the fall challenges all summer long. Mentally all kinds of options are played, as well as the most difficult: how not to have crowds of children. In this sense, the school has a great advantage, which only a year ago was considered a great disadvantage: the small number of students. For them, the building offers many classrooms.
In Dobrinishte they believe a lot in the discipline of their graduates. And they hope that every instruction from the Ministry of Education will become law, even for first grade students.
The modest school is also prepared for the big problems everyone fears the fall may bring. If an infected student appears in the classroom, action will be taken immediately.
“Immediate action will be taken with RHI, after which they will have to take over the case and immediately quarantine the areas and people who have had contact with the child or school employee who has been identified with the virus.” explained Dobrinishte Mayor Petar Galchev. .
And the children look forward to the first day of school, which comes after a long separation from friends. In Dobrinishte, everyone hopes that the spring period will be the last break from COVID.
