Photos showing racist messages were posted on the Aliens Facebook groups in Sofia & Friends, Scandinaver and Bulgarien and on the Tripadvisor website.

On the Tripadvisor platform, a user who introduced herself as Sarah commented: “This hotel has a White Only sign right next to its entrance. I don’t understand how this is possible in the 21st century. Imagine that you have booked your stay at this hotel As a foreigner and the first thing you come across in front of the entrance is a “White Only” sign. This must be illegal and inhumanly offensive. For your own good and that of everyone else, do not book a stay in this racist den.
Facebook user Marina MK’s comment says: “Reaching new funds is a specialty of this country.”
The group Aliens in Sofia is debating whether Bulgaria is a racist country. From the context it can be deduced that this sign is probably intended for Roma and that this is common in our country.
