So far, 16 people have been hospitalized, police and protesters, and currently there are 7 ambulances in the square.
Three reporters and cameramen were admitted to ISUL for testing. There is also Nikolay Minkov from “Trud”, who was also injured while covering the protest actions. On several occasions he was at the epicenter of clashes between police and protesters and was gassed.
Three gassed policemen were examined in “Pirogov”. They refused to stay in the hospital for treatment.
All three were examined by a toxicologist and an ophthalmologist. They were found to be gassed with hot spray. They have damage to the upper respiratory tract, skin of the face and hands, as well as the cornea and conjunctiva of the eyes.
Another man and a woman went through the emergency room. The man had a bruise on his head and the woman on his elbow. After inspection and bandaging, they were both released. One is not insured.
