1,189 patients with proven COVID-19 were admitted to hospitals. 59 of them are in intensive care units or clinics.
According to the Bulgarian National Information System, the medical personnel diagnosed with the new coronavirus is 1357. The new cases registered during the last 24 hours are 21. Of these, 10 have been identified by doctors, 5 – by nurses, 3 – by nurses and 3 – with other medical staff.
The number of deaths in which the coronavirus infection was confirmed was 891. Four of the cases were from the last 24 hours. A 59-year-old man with heart disease, an 82-year-old man with diabetes and heart disease, a 58-year-old man for whom there is currently no information on comorbidities, and a 63-year-old woman for whom no information on comorbidities.
