80,901 are members of the Bulgarian Socialist Party in Bulgaria. This was announced at a press conference minutes ago, taking into account the participation until 11 in the morning for the election of a new party leader. At 11 o’clock, 31,302 people had voted, which is about 38%.

In a meeting of the commission the complaints and signals received during the electoral day were considered. The commission received around 50 complaints from various advocates for most of the candidates.

“The complaints can be grouped into several groups. One of the groups is the complaints about changes in the polling stations. The CCA inspections found that the replacement of premises in neighbors or even voting in front of the premises itself was necessary due to that mayors and vice mayors who are not from the BSP violated the preliminary agreements and did not give access to the electoral colleges agreed upon, which were announced in a timely manner, ”explained Rumyana Siderova, vice president of the CCA at the BSP.

Secondly, one of the consequences of this change is the late start of voting in some sections, so we also have several complaints. The other big group of complaints is that some municipalities have not announced the schedules of the mobile sections ”. Siderova commented as well.

An excessively large polling station was installed in the Primorski-Varna region, calling into question whether all voters can be surrounded by two mobile ballot boxes, the commission said.

There is also a complaint about campaign materials on the table of one of the electoral commissions, which were immediately withdrawn.

Violations on the day of the elections in the BSP cannot affect the outcome of the elections, assured the chairman of the Central Commission for Internal Party Elections in the BSP Emil Voynov. “You have seen for yourself, the most significant ones have been mentioned in front of you. You can see that they are not violations that could affect the outcome of the elections,” he said.

Currently, data collection on participation continues at 3 pm A new meeting of the Central Commission is scheduled for 6:30 pm.

The first voting results will likely be released tomorrow and the final results are expected late tomorrow.
