The traffic accident occurred on Saturday morning at approximately 8:15 am at the intersection of a busy boulevard in Vratsa, Nova TV reports.
One of the cars ran a green light. Facing red was the other one waiting. A car collided with the parked vehicle and literally threw it across the green. A woman riding in the back seat of the sweep car was injured.
One of the drivers was drunk. The pharmacist reported 2.7 per thousand alcohol in the blood.
BLITZ recalls that Milen Tsvetkov died in a similar accident at Easter 2020. The television journalist was kidnapped by a young man who used 3 types of opiates while waiting at a red light with his car near a shopping center in the capital.
Minutes after the incident, the presenter passed away from incompatible injuries. A lawsuit is currently being filed against the perpetrator: Kristian Nikolov.
