Heavy snowfall continues in the capital. The teams of the snow cleaning companies are in the field and continue with the processing of the roads and the cleaning of the stops and accesses to the subway, announced the press center of the municipality of Sofia.
Anti-ice salts are given priority in the streets where public transport circulates, the main streets of the neighborhoods, as well as the steep and dangerous sections.
Currently, public transport cars cover all routes.
Treatments are also carried out on the southern arc of the ring road, as well as on municipal roads in the “Pancharevo”, “Vitosha”, “Kremikovtsi”, “Bankya”, “Novi Iskar” regions. Sanding was carried out on the roads of the Vitosha National Park – “Boyana – Golden Bridges” and “Dragalevtsi – Aleko”.
Snowfall is strongest in the southern districts of the capital.
Drivers of vehicles should use only well-winterized cars on the road and drive at a speed appropriate to road conditions.
The municipality reminds those responsible for the companies to organize the cleaning of the sidewalks in front of their offices and commercial premises.
