The beheaded body of Novodvinsk resident Olga Shlyamina was found shortly after relatives reported her missing to the police. They said the young mother left the home on March 20 and has not known her whereabouts since.

An acquaintance of hers in her 40s, with whom she had a close relationship, was arrested on suspicion of having killed Olga. Local media reported that the man was her roommate, with whom they allegedly fought often.
Olga leaves behind a daughter and a son of primary school age. Local media found her name on the winners list of the “Queen of the Forest” beauty pageant.
