Hamilton disappointed with Istanbul park pavement

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton was extremely unhappy with the first two free practice sessions. The six-time world player complained about the condition of the new pavement on the Istanbul Park court and described his day as terrible.

“Today was a real disaster for me, to be honest. This is such a beautiful track and I can’t understand why so much money is being spent on new pavement. I know it has been a long time since F1 racing has been held.” I don’t think this re-asphalt is correct and so much money has been wasted, “said Hamilton.

Lewis added that he doesn’t feel the car in the best light and he doesn’t expect this to change at the end of the race weekend. At the same time, he believes that soft tires are a better fit on the Turkish track.

“My pace on the softer tires was very good. I had great difficulty with the harder Pirelli mix and suffered from a lack of traction. I hope to improve my speed to be more competitive in qualifying and racing,” said Lewis Hamilton.
