Roma attacked and macheted a man in Roman after a domestic scandal. IMRO MP Krassimir Bogdanov reported on this after a signal was sent to him.
“It is time for the government to adopt the Concept of Integration of Marginalized Roma Communities.” This is the position of IMRO deputies after the scandal.
The action took place on September 14 in Roman. Kalin Hristov noticed a young rum hanging around his house in the afternoon. There are reports that the person broke into the property several months ago for the purpose of robbery.
The property owner requested accounts from the person and, in the ensuing dispute, slapped the Roma several times, for which he received threats that he would be killed. Later, around 7:30 p.m., the young gypsy returned with his father and grandfather.
Kalin Hristov works as a security guard and owns a gun. However, he did not use it. The Roma pulled out a machete and used it to hit Kalin on the head and arms. Thanks to the intervention of the neighbors, the security guard got rid of the injuries.
Hristov was admitted to neurosurgery at a Sofia hospital with severed head injuries, blood vessels and tendons. After the difficult operation, it is not clear whether his arm will be able to recover.
Here is part of the IMRO comment on the incident:
“We are announcing another brutal self-mutilation of fringe groups with ordinary citizens only today, when Kalin was released from the hospital yesterday.
Needless to say, the long list of murdered, raped, beaten and robbed by marginalized individuals who forget themselves. What about theft and illegal logging?
This no longer has to be tolerated! It is no accident that for years we have been pushing for the limits of the inevitable defense to be extended.
We also fully support the frequent actions of the prosecution against organized groups and clans of Gypsies that ravage the villages. But it is already obvious to everyone that the situation in the country cannot be controlled with partial actions, ”said part of the party’s statement.
