Thus, the percentage of positive samples increases again and from 37.81% reaches 40.7%.
The total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria is already 118,418. A total of 906,207 PCR tests have been performed.

Active cases continue to rise and are now 81,252, representing an increase of 2,793 new cases. There is also an increase in hospitals, with 5,942 patients currently admitted for treatment, which is 64 more per day. The number of patients in the intensive care unit is increasing: 383, or a huge increase of 39 cases in the last 24 hours. 1,061 people have been recovered and their total number is already 34,388. 129 patients died in the last 24 hours, 10 more than yesterday’s 119. Thus, the victims of COVID-19 in our country already number 2,778. cases of coronavirus, that is, jumping with 152 new cases. 55,236 are in quarantine, and 3,823 more per day. Most of those infected were found again in the city of Sofia, 1,031. Plovdiv, followed by 409 and Varna with 302. There is no district without new infections, with the lowest cases in Kardzhali 16 and Vidin 19.
