Around 20:00, the space of the Triangle of Power was already full of protesters.

On the walls of the former Party House, the protest organizers projected messages in different languages from Bulgarian citizens residing abroad to MEPs, who will participate in a debate on the situation in our country.

Organizers of the protest said they would try to end the demonstration at 10:30 pm to prevent possible provocations and escalation of tensions with law enforcement. Some of the protesters began to disperse after 9 p.m.

However, at the end of the demonstration, at 9:20 pm, Arman Babikyan asked the protesters to march towards the old National Assembly building and pray at the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.

During “Great Popular Uprising 3”, tensions arose between protesters and the police near the old parliament building, which did not allow them to enter the cathedral. Tonight, however, law enforcement officials provided protesters with access to the square near St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.

Some of those in power surprisingly stopped at the police cordon next to the old National Assembly building and asked the uniformed men for an answer as to why they had been detained before and are now allowed to enter the square freely. There was an exchange of comments between protesters and police chiefs.

Another part of the protesters moved to the cathedral with the chant of “Renunciation” and placed a huge banner with the same inscription in front of its entrance.

Shortly after 10:00 pm, those in power made their way to Eagle Bridge. Traffic was blocked in Tsarigradsko Shosse. The atmosphere of the protest remained peaceful, without provocation and without tension with the police.

Around 11:30 pm, most of the protesters dispersed.
