The British authorities have announced new stricter restrictive measures in relation to the spread of Kovid-19, and quarantine is being introduced across the country, the Foreign Office announced.
UK residents should not leave their homes unless they have a good reason to do so. They can leave if:
• Buying essential items, for themselves or another vulnerable person;
• Go to work or volunteer if this cannot be done from home;
• Meet with people from the second home with whom they support each other, provided they have the right to do so (the conditions for forming such support can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/making-a -burbuja- of-support-with-another-home # what-is-a-bubble-of-support);
• Train with your family or with no more than one person outside of it, and these activities must be limited to once a day and must be carried out in the area in which they live;
• Seek medical help and try to avoid injury or illness (including domestic violence);
• Visit an educational institution or a kindergarten, for those who have the right to do so.
Universities, elementary and secondary schools will remain open to children with special needs, as well as those whose parents practice the so-called critical professions. All others will receive training remotely until mid-February.
Students will study remotely to the exclusion of those who study in so-called critical professions: doctors, teachers, transportation workers, and others.
Leaving home for any of the above reasons should only take place in the area of residence. You can go out if you are traveling for work.
People who are at risk for Covid-19 can go to the doctor or train if necessary. They don’t have to go to work.
Meetings with non-household members are not allowed unless there is a good reason to do so. A distance of 2 meters should be observed with all others.
