The host of the “Faith and Society” program, Goran Blagoev, announced on Facebook that he had broken up with BNT and made a series of serious accusations against television director Emil Koshlukov.
He compared the situation on public television with that after September 9, 1944. According to Blagoev, 29 San Stefano Street was ruled by reconciliation, lack of character and mediocrity.
I had the feeling of being in some kind of mutren environment. This has not been the case at BNT so far, says the TV host with more than 28 years of media experience.
Recently, Blagoev announced that he was joining the political project of former GERB deputy Tsvetan Tsvetanov, called “Republicans for Bulgaria”.
Here is the text of his entire letter:
I have not been an employee of BNT since yesterday. After 28 and a half years, I said “goodbye” to the institution that built me as a professional. I made this choice with the full conviction that where reconciliation, lack of character and mediocrity began to reign, it could no longer have a place. The past three months have let me know how uncomfortable people felt after September 9, 1944. I thank Koshlukov and his lackeys for this revelation. However, there is no way to thank them for an obsessive feeling that I have never experienced in the corridors of San Stefano: the feeling that I am in some kind of riotous environment. This has not been the case for BNT so far.
As we know, only God is eternal in this world. We are passengers, also our stay at BNT.
I leave with gratitude to all those with whom I have known my professional career during these last 28 and a half years. Thank you for the pleasure of our work together, for the empathy, for the support, even for the tests that have helped me. It’s about gaining experience, invaluable experience.
I fondly leave all the comrades who stay and they have no choice but to tolerate BNT’s cowardice, the comrades who must tolerate the meanness and lies of this man and his lackeys, because they have no opportunity to go elsewhere. However, I also go with pain to those colleagues who during these last three months have shown their invertebrate and kindness with the strong ones of the day! It inevitably contributes to the sinking of BNT in the swamp in which it is found. I hope they don’t completely drown their colleagues, because the responsibility for this will be his, not Koshlukov’s, who never understood what BNT is and what it should be. Non-resistance to evil is empathy for evil itself.
You can leave BNT not only for a higher salary elsewhere, Koshlukov. You can also leave BNT for the sake of freedom and truth. Because not only by bread does a person live.
