The GERB regional electoral headquarters in Kardzhali has filed a complaint with the REC against the mayor of Kardzhali village in Chiflik, Nefide Isa Ali, who appears before the sectional electoral commission, influencing the free will of voters and putting pressure on them, the GERB press office said.
“The mayors of the municipalities of the Kardzhali region are massively abusing their powers as civil servants and appear before the PEC on the day of the vote,” the party said.
GERB insists that DEC carry out an inspection and take the necessary actions within its competence.
GERB – Silistra filed a complaint for violations and suspicions of vote buying in the village of Bistra, municipality of Alfatar.
According to the signal sent by the citizens, near the mayor’s office and the MRF office, agitation is taking place in a grocery store in violation of the Electoral Code.
The store is located next to the town’s electoral college. Signals to buy votes were also received, said to have taken place in the same store.
No MRF posters have been removed from the courtyard of the mayor’s office in the village of Zaichar, municipality of Ruen, where there is a sectional electoral commission.
A signal about the case was sent to the District Election Commission – Burgas by GERB regional coordinator Dimitar Boychev.
“The campaign materials are located less than 50 meters from the electoral college. The president of said PEC was warned about the case, but did not take the appropriate measures. The case described violates article 184, paragraph 1 of the Electoral Code ”, the GERBs are categorical.
A photo is attached to the sign and the party leadership hopes that RIK-Burgas will verify the sign.
The municipal head of GERB – Kocherinovo pointed out the District Election Commission in Kyustendil for obstructing free access to the electoral college.
The complaint indicates that a person who is a member of the PEC in the town of Kocherinovo stands at the door of the voting station and prevents free access to the voting station and the exercise of the right to vote.
“Please take the necessary actions to avoid obstruction of the electoral process,” the complaint said.
The GERB-UDF coalition filed a complaint of illegal agitation on Milka Hristova’s Facebook on the day of the vote.
The violation consists of the attempt to call voters to vote for a specific participant in the electoral process, indicating a specific number on the ballot.
The imperative prohibition of art. 182, para. 4 of the Electoral Code, according to which pre-electoral agitation is not allowed 24 hours before the day of the elections and on the day of the elections.
In its appeal, the GERB-UDF Coalition insists on the basis of art. 57, para. 1, points 1 and 26 in relation to art. 182, para. 4 of the Electoral Code, to carry out an inspection in relation to the circumstances indicated, as well as to take the necessary actions to stop said violation and punish the offenders.
