New addition to Levski’s team, Georgi Alexandrov, said his return to Gerena is a dream come true. Alexandrov, 19, who is a teenager from the club, signed a two-year contract today. He started the campaign in Vitosha Bistritsa, registering 7 matches for the team in Second League.
“This is a dream come true for me. I have been training at Levski’s school since I was 7 years old and the time has come to return, although after a not so long time,” he commented on club television.
“I didn’t think about it, I had even gone on tour, but the moment the head coach (Georgi Todorov) called me, I immediately stopped and went back to talk to the Levski bosses. I don’t think I have adaptation problems, I know most of the players well, especially those who have gone to school, ”said the young man.
Alexandrov believes that his stay on Vitosha’s men’s team helped him grow.
“I spent a short period in Vitosha, but I managed to get used to the thinking of more experienced players and I think it helped me. During this time I followed everything in Levski: results, matches and transfers. At the moment a very good team with a very great potential and everything depends on us, “said the defender.
“We must always chase the first places for the Bulgarian Cup. My personal goal is to show that I am faster in front of the coaching staff to have a chance to play.”
