The GERB youth organization demanded the resignation of Professor Ivo Hristov
“Unusual and unusual coalitions are taking place within the European institutions; representatives of the right-wing parties are entering into a coalition with the left. The aim of these people is to humiliate and insult Bulgaria,” said Deputy Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev, at a briefing at the COAT OF ARMS headquarters on the occasion of yesterday’s debate in the European Parliament on the situation in Bulgaria.
“If we go back to the debates of a few hours ago, we will see that the face of our country is very well represented, thanks to the government and Prime Minister Boyko Borissov,” he added.

According to him, Professor Ivo Hristov does not have the moral and political right to represent the people in the National Assembly.
“Now we cannot forgive another provocation. This is an insult. We ask for his resignation,” he added.
The professor caused a sensation with his comment a few years ago that “80% of Bulgarians are idiots.”
Georg Georgiev called today’s statement by the social deputy a dangerous repeat offense.
