The security and protest actions are correct. The police must establish public order, but both the protesters and the police have a common enemy: provocateurs. If you were at the police location, you would contact protesters along this line. This was stated in the morning block of BTV Gen. Rumen Milanov, former director of the NGO.
The police serve the community, not the government or the protest. Young people have free and immaculate demands. They should be given the chance to vote and an alternative, said Professor Kalin Gaidarov, former director of the Institute of Psychology at the Interior Ministry.
“It is important to inspect and control protesters, but not limit yourself so that there is no censorship,” Gen. Milanov commented.
“If it had been for me, I would not have deployed the cordon, but I would have kept them as a reserve, there is no need to have policemen every 5 meters at this time,” revealed the former head of the NSO.
“We need proper commands from the cordon chiefs. Is there blood? It’s bad. In operational work, don’t rush, in security, don’t delay,” Gen. Rumen Milanov said.
“The previous actions of the police showed disorganization. Many mistakes were made on September 2,” commented Professor Kalin Gaidarov.
“You cannot act in a humiliating way and threaten the lives of the protesters,” said the former director of the Institute of Psychology of the Interior Ministry.
