A photo of a freshly slaughtered lamb, hung on the fence of a playground in the capital’s Musagenitsa district, sparked a wave of outrage and comments on social media. The animal was hung meters from the windows of two apartment blocks. According to eyewitnesses, the sacrifice was carried out in front of a large audience, who came out onto the terraces of the nearby buildings.
“I suppose a lot of people have seen this action. Apparently, the man has slaughtered a lamb for Zagovezni,” explained an eyewitness.

“Such activities should not take place in public places, just meters from a kindergarten. There are hundreds of comments on the subject on social networks, but there is not a single signal sent to the municipality or to 112,” said the deputy mayor from the “Studentski” district, Iskren Arabadjiev.
Arabadjiev calls on citizens to report irregularities, even if it is outside working hours or on weekends.
Such “sacrifices” are not uncommon in the neighborhood.
