Drivers can purchase and check the validity of the electronic vignette on the website www.bgtoll.bg and the BGTOL mobile app. In January and February 2021, the term of more than 800 thousand annual electronic vignettes for cars expires.
Given the epidemiological situation with Covid-19, we appeal to users when buying an e-vignette to use the site www.bgtoll.bg or the BGTOL mobile application. Electronic vignettes can also be purchased through RIA’s other sales channels – over the counter against payment in cash or through an autoload terminal – by card.
There are counters at 13 border checkpoints, as well as at the 27 regional road administrations throughout the country. There are about 500 autoloading terminals.
Electronic vignettes can also be purchased from the Road Infrastructure Agency’s partner network through the websites www.vinetki.bg, www.tollpass.bg, www.digitoll.bg, www.epay.bg, www. telenor.bg, www. A1.bg, as well as at the cash desk in the mobile operator network A1, Telenor, Bulgarian Post, Easy Pay and at the “Lukoil”, “Petrol” and OMV gas stations, as well as through the “Cashterminal” terminals at the network of “Intercapital Group”.
The validity of the electronic bullet can be checked on the website www.bgtoll.bg from the “Verify bullet” button.
By entering the registration number of the car and the country in which it is registered, everyone can obtain information about the deadline date of the electronic vignette, regardless of where it was purchased, at the points of sale of the Road Infrastructure Agency or at the retail network of RIA partners. The status can be “active”, “expired” or “unused” in cases where the vignette was purchased with a deferred start within 30 days of the effective start date.
Car owners who have electronic vignettes issued through the Social Assistance Agency can verify their validity on the RIA website: https://social.api.bg. The button is labeled “Verify the electronic bullet issued through the Social Assistance Agency.”
The information about the term of the annual free vignette appears after entering the car registration number.
From January 1 to November 30, 2020, more than 5 million electronic vignettes were purchased through all sales channels for more than BGN 256 million. The most preferred by drivers of vehicles up to 3.5 tons are the annual electronic vignettes. Of these, 1,954,530 units were sold for a value of BGN 189,589,410.
Second in demand are weekly electronic vignettes. 1,717,888 were purchased. BGN 29,291,447. The monthly electronic vignettes follow: BGN 534,248, BGN 21,382,995, the weekend vignettes: BGN 441,955, BGN 4,419,550 and the quarterly electronic vignettes: BGN 72,713, for BGN 3,926,502
