It has emerged despite closed borders and the country’s attempts to filter arrivals from Britain.

France has discovered the first case of a new coronavirus mutation on its territory. The detected carrier is a man who arrived from Great Britain to the French city of Tours on December 19.

This means that the mutated virus was already on French territory before the border closure was announced.

France has approved the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine against COVID-19

Experts believe that the mutated form of the virus is already in many parts of the world, but it has not been detected. So far, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Australia and Japan have proven their existence on their territory.

The transport chaos caused by the closing of the border between France and Britain continues today.
