US President Donald Trump has said that Sasha Barron Cohen, the comedian behind the Borat films, thinks he is a freak (a scoundrel) and not funny.
Baron Cohen’s new film, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, shows Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani in a compromising situation in a hotel room with a young woman posing as a journalist.
The action takes place in a hotel room in New York in July of this year.
The young woman is 24-year-old Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova.
In “Borat – The Sequel”, she plays the protagonist’s daughter.
Rudy Giuliani claims to have been the victim of a “personalized strike”.
Last night, Trump told reporters aboard the Air Force 1 presidential plane that he did not know about the Giuliani incident.
“But you know, years ago he (Baron Cohen) tried to play with me,” Trump said.
“And I was the only one who said, ‘There’s no way.’ This guy is a fake (No way. This guy is a fake guy). ”
“I don’t find it funny,” Trump said, adding, “It’s a phenomenon to me.”
Trump made a brief appearance on HBO’s “Da Ali G Show” in 2003, but prematurely dropped out of the interview with Baron Cohen’s character Ali G.
