For today’s parliamentary elections, the parties did not change very important rules, among them not facilitating the access of thousands of people in quarantine and isolation to exercise their right to vote. They also failed to make the necessary amendments to the Electoral Code to ensure voting transparency for voters. Although it is sometimes publicly stated that polling bans should be lifted on Election Day, two years ago the GERB, the MRF and the Patriots introduced greater restrictions, almost in secret, and never changed them.
