Yoji is the first member of “Insolent” to get out of prison.
Ivaylo Eftimov, known as Yozhi of the Naglite kidnapper gang, has been released ahead of prison time. This is clearly apparent from a decision of the Sofia Court of Appeal.
With him, judges Nikolay Dzhurkovski, Emilia Koleva and Velichka Tsanova decided that Evtimov would be put on probation for 2 years, 5 months and 22 days. This is the rest of your sentence. He has served more than 15 and a half years of the 18 that were imposed on him. Eftimov will have a probation measure “mandatory periodic meetings with a probation officer” for a period of 2 years and 5 months. The magistrates based their decision on the fact that Yoji had served more than two-thirds of his sentence.
In addition, the SAS considered that the data of the case shows that for the moment, with its “exemplary and positive behavior, as well as with its responsible and honest attitude towards work, Eftimov has provided sufficient evidence and volume for its correction.”
The Naughty Group operated from 2007 to the end of 2009, when 28 people were arrested in a large-scale investigation into a series of kidnappings. Among the victims are businessmen Kiro Kirov, Angel Bonchev and his wife Kamelia, Borislav Atanasov, Wilhelm Kraus, the child Giorgio Markov, the son of Rumen Guninski. During captivity, some of them lost their ears and fingers.
Another court panel rejected the early release of another member of the group: Daniel Dimitrov-Releto.
Years ago, Yoji was released again, but in the first instance. After “24 Horas” broke the news, the latter returned him to prison.
