The second division Montana supports the option of the Bulgarian Football Union to end the season in the Second League by announcing the current classification as final. Option “A” plans to complete all 12 rounds of the regular season by July 13. “Half of the clubs are in a difficult financial situation. The players have not practiced for 2 months and there will be a lot of injuries when the championship resumes. Therefore, I think it is better to finish now,” said the Mayor of Montana, Zlatko Zhivkov.
But Cariana Erden thinks otherwise.
“Let all the games be played. Then the classification will be the fairest. I think there will be at least 20 days to prepare and the players will be in shape,” said club owner Milan Yosifov.
The Bulgarian football team has given all 16 Second League clubs until tomorrow to make a decision.
