The man who detonated a bomb on Christmas Eve in the center of the US city of Nashville sent his acquaintances, before he died, materials about his views, federal investigators said, cited by the Associated Press.

FBI Special Agent Jason Pack told the Associated Press that authorities “know that the suspect has sent several of his acquaintances from around the country to present his views.”

An explosion broke out in the American city of Nashville

Authorities say Anthony Warner, 63, was responsible for the blast, which damaged dozens of buildings and injured several people. He was killed in the explosion and authorities did not say why.

Again, he did not elaborate on the contents of the packages sent by Warner, but urged anyone who has received material from Warner to contact the FBI.

A police video was released about the explosion in Nashville at Christmas

The bombing took place on Christmas morning, long before the streets of the city center came to life. Police initially responded to a fire signal, but police came across a caravan from which an audio recording was heard warning that a bomb would explode in 15 minutes. Then another sound recording unexpectedly began, this time on Petula Clark’s 1964 hit “Downtown,” and the explosion followed soon after, adds BTA.
