As of tomorrow, the city of Sofia is closed for entry and exit. This was stated at an extraordinary press conference by General Ventsislav Mutafchiiski.

All these people leaving Sofia are scattered across the country. This leads to a more difficult situation with unclear consequences. “I will issue an order, from 00:00 hours until the second order, to suspend the entry and exit of Sofia from all vehicles, except cargo, special vehicles, vehicles that transport patients, as well as vehicles with health officials,” Health Minister Kiril Ananiev said.
He added that the ban does not apply to emergency vehicles for public electricity services, those involved in Internet distribution and cars that transport workers.
Of course, the ban also applies to all athletes who will not be able to leave the capital and go home.
