The game between Everton and Manchester City on Monday was postponed after the team of “citizens” has new infected members at the club.
Earlier this month, it became clear that Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker were two of the team’s players who had a coronavirus and missed the match with Newcastle United on Boxing Day. This is the second Premier League game this season, which was postponed due to coronavirus, after earlier this month Aston Villa and Newcastle also did not play for COVID-19 in the “magpies”.
“After the latest coronavirus tests, there are more coronavirus patients in the club, in addition to those reported at Christmas,” the club wrote.

An Everton victory would put the team on top with city rivals Liverpool, and a City success would send the Blues to fourth place before Sunday’s game against Chelsea.
