The football match between Paris Saint-Germain and Istanbul Basaksehir was stopped after 16 minutes of play. This became a fact after the fourth official of the match, Romanian Sebastian Cultescu, insulted one of the players of both teams on racial grounds.
This is the assistant coach of the Turkish club Pierre Webo. The former Merunian was attacked by the referee with words that were heard by all the players and the squad of both teams. This happened after substitute Webo started arguing with head referee Ovidiu Hatzegan in the French capital, and the Romanian elite referee took him out with a red card. Then the verbal skirmish with the fourth official began.
PSG and Istanbul BB have decided to return to the dressing room until the case is clarified. At the moment, the Turkish club has published a collage on its social networks, which is UEFA’s motto – “No to racism.

While the players are still in the locker room, early testimonies seem to show that the fourth official pointed a finger at Pierre Webo, then called him “black”, which infuriated the former player. The PSG players have stated that they are ready to continue the match, but the Turkish players have not yet given their answer. They can wait until 22:00 local time (23:00 Bulgarian time) to decide whether to continue the match. If this does not happen by then, an official defeat is awarded to the Turkish champion. The match will continue, however, after the players from the Turkish metropolis have decided to end the match, provided the fourth official Cultescu is not present on the field.
